Heist started in 2019 as a single grill cart parked outside Porto's late-night bars — run by a chef and a bartender who were tired of cooking and pouring drinks for someone else's idea of a good night.
Built by two people who kept getting kicked out of quieter bars.
When the old cannery warehouse on the riverside came up — cracked brick, rusted beams, nobody else wanted it — they took it anyway. The Douro's always had a rough edge: dockworkers, warehouses, boats unloading crates till dawn. We just added a grill, a stage, and a reason to stay past midnight.
